Due to the incredible performance of its predecessor, our 9th electric car, we chose to focus on reliability. While the self-developed E6 electric motors were retained, the aerodynamic package was heavily optimized, to further reduce lap times.

With EDGE11 a two year cycle was introduced, which meant that the monocoque geometry might have remained the same but ply layup was further improved to reduce weight while retaining stiffness. A further goal of this season was to get the car finished quickly to allow for more testing time. Due to a strict timeplan EDGE14 is the earliest finished car in the team’s history.
